Licensed Chemical Application

Does your lawn care company carry the proper licenses and insurance for applying chemicals?

Find out here:http://www2.mda.state.mn.us/webapp/lis/cpestapp_default.jsp

All of the employees here at Premium Properties are licensed to apply fertilizer and any employee who applies pesticide carries a current Minnesota Commerical Pesticide Applicator's License. We are also covered by a commercial pesticide applicator's insurance policy.

Premium Properties is different than other chemical application companies in the area. We are the first and only company in the area that applies lawn chemicals with a covered or shielded sprayer (shown below).

Our shielded sprayer helps to eliminate drift, which keeps sensitive annual and perennial flowers safe from herbicide exposure. Since drift is eliminated, we are able to use significantly less herbicide per acre than traditional boom sprayers.

We offer professional chemical application in the following five categories.

1) Broadleaf Herbicide

Dandelion, clover, thistle, plantain, etc.

Also hard to kill perennial broadleaf weeds:

Creeping Charlie (Ground Ivy), Wild Violet, Oxalis, and Spurge

2) Grassy Weed Herbicide

Pre-emergent (spring): Crabgrass

Post-emergent (anytime): Crabgrass, goosegrass, tall fescue, quackgrass

3) Fertilizer

Slow release and fast release nitrogen based fertilizer program. The best time to apply is the fall, when the turfgrass root system is actively growing.

4) Fungicide

Identification and control of fungal turf diseases such as dollar spot, brown patch, summer patch, and others.

5) Non Selective Herbicide

We apply non-selective herbicides in parking lots, driveways, and any other area where no vegetation is desired.
